Michael R. Kreager

Michael R. Kreager, 42, of Curtice, OH, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, June 2, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1982, in Oregon, OH, to Ronald R. and Shelley (Tello) Kreager.

Michael was a 2000 graduate of Genoa High School. He began his career with Blue Beacon Truck Wash Co., starting out washing semi-trucks in Stony Ridge, Ohio. Through hard work and dedication, he rose through the ranks at multiple locations and was most recently serving as the general manager of the company’s Stony Ridge location.

A passionate fan of Michigan Wolverines football, Michael also enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and spending time with family. Known for his sharp wit, great sense of humor, and warm personality, he brought laughter and light to those around him. His sons, Kaiden and Brady, were the pride and joy of his life, and he cherished attending all their activities, especially sporting events.

Michael grew up as a beloved brother to his siblings and a cherished cousin/nephew to his extended family with whom he maintained strong connections. His family was incredibly important to him—tight-knit and full of spirited competition that brought joy and lasting memories. Michael will be remembered for his affectionate nature, quick smile, and unwavering love for those he held dear.

He is survived by his sons, Kaiden (7) and Brady (5); father, Ronald (Karen) Kreager, Sr.; mother, Shelley Miner; siblings, Raquel Kreager, Michelle (Craig) Ish, Ronald (Ruth) Kreager, Jr., Katie (Daniel) Burris, and Nikki (Christopher) Kitchens; grandmother, Barbara Tello; the mother of his sons, Ashley Kreager; 13 nieces and nephews; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Rick Miner.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Brethren Chapel, 1820 OH-590, Gibsonburg, OH.
