Michael R. Kramer

Michael R. Mike Kramer, age 61, of Maumee, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his residence on September 11, 2018. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 12, 1957 to Marvin Tony Kramer and T. Ann (Meek) Wagner. Mike was a 1975 graduate of Maumee High School. He worked at Jeep for more than 25 years and was most recently employed as a team supervisor. He was also a retired Maumee Fireman, EMT, and Fire Inspector; where he served for 21 years and reached the rank of Lieutenant of Heavy Rescue. Mike spent most of his free time outdoors, and enjoyed snow and water skiing, fishing, hunting with his chocolate labs, and watching The Ohio State Football team. Mike is survived by his sister, Toni (Ed Vaznelis) Hamilton; brother, Blair (Megan) Kramer; nieces, Casey and Lindsay (Adrian); nephews, Kellen, Clay, and Sascha; stepchildren, Dennis (Andrea) Smith and Christina Smith; grandchildren Addison, Bailey, Hannah, Riley, and Spencer; and close friend, Sharyll Beavers. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held from 12-4 pm on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio with the funeral service to follow at 4 pm.
