Michael Crawford Hook

Michael C. Hook, age 61, formerly of Carey, OH, passed away due to medical complications relating to heart disease on December 8, 2024. He was born on December 13, 1962, in Sandusky, Ohio to Donald and Mabel Hook

Mike had been a stroke survivor since 2010. Prior to 2010, he was a S.T.N.A. and had enrolled in the RN program at NW State Community College. He was a friend of Bill W.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanne Hook of 19 years; children, Michael, Daphne, and Victoria Hook; son-in-law, Andrew; grandchildren, Runa and Luther Delong and Charlie Bellamay Hook; and many friends. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Mabel.

Services will be private. Memorial donations be made in Mike’s name to the American Heart Association or ProMedica Toledo Hospital Foundation. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Toledo Hospital ICU 7th and 8th floor for their expert care of Mike.
