Michael V. Gwinn

Michael Van Gwinn, 59, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, unexpectedly, Tuesday, October 06, 2015 at H. B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. Michael was born on August 29, 1956 in Dayton, OH, the son of Harold and Mary Ann (Hulcher) Gwinn. On April 02, 1977 in San Diego, CA, he married Laurita R. Sanico. Michael served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, Ohio. Michael will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving wife of 38 years: Laurie Gwinn of Port Clinton, OH; Son: Patrick V. (Roxanne Rodriguez) Gwinn of Elyria, OH; Granddaughter: Thalia Gwinn. Michael was preceded in death by his parents. Per the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30AM, Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Michael may be given to the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH.
