Michael Gunnar Gonzalez

Michael Gunnar Gonzalez age 34 of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. He was born in Detroit, MI on November 13, 1987. Michael was a loving and caring person. He had a big heart and would help anyone that was in need. Michael loved to make everyone laugh and was always the life of the party. He was very outgoing and loved going on road trips with his fiancé and kids. Michael was a big kid at heart. He will be dearly missed all his family and friends. Surviving is his parents, Jane (Calvin) McGriff; father, Jose Gonzalez; fiancé, Kristin Kobee; children, Kristiana, Michael Jr., Noah, Adalynn and Sophia; siblings, Joey, Jill (Tyler), Jelissa (Anthony), Shayn (Bri) and Selena (Chris); step-siblings, Robert McGriff; Amanda (Thomas) Miles and Danielle Wymer. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins that loved him very much. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leroy and Joyce (Purtee) Adams; George and Esther (Purtee) Rosenbrook; sisters, Jessica Singleton and Jennifer Gonzalez. A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
