Michael Patrick Gaynor, 49, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born on March 21, 1970 to James and Beverly (Reynolds) Gaynor. He was a 1988 Central Catholic High School graduate, served proudly in the United States Navy, and worked at the Hollywood Casino. Mike was a huge Ohio State Buckeye football fan, a faithful Cleveland Browns fan, and always followed the Cincinnati Reds. Michael loved this time of year so much. Every Saturday he would watch the Buckeyes play, text his brothers during the entire game with highlights, play calls, and the infamous BOOM text whenever the Bucks scored a touchdown. He loved and cared for his children and family and was great example of what it takes to be a loving, caring, father. He is survived by his wife, Lisa; son, Landon; daughter, Lakyn; mother, Beverly; siblings, Jim (Jayne) Gaynor, Dan (Laurie) Gaynor; nieces and nephews, Lawren (Bryan) Olivanti, Kylie (Ryan) Zoller, Brooke Gaynor, Jacob Gaynor; in-laws, Ken and Nancy Marovich; sister-in-law, Laura Marovich. He was preceded in death by his father, James; and sister, Jennifer. Friends will be received on Friday, October 11, 2019 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 5240 Talmadge Road, Toledo, until the time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in memory of Mike are asked to consider making the donation to his family for his childrens college fund.
