Michael “Mo” Farhoud, 31, of Toledo, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022, in Cleveland. Mo was born October 25, 1990, in Toledo, Ohio to Ahmad and Susan (Kalell) Farhoud. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Toledo and was currently bartending at Vault in Cleveland. Many can attest that this was the perfect job for him considering how much of a social butterfly he was. His family often joked that Mo lived the philosophy “There are no strangers; only friends you haven't yet met”. He was intelligent, hilarious, and above all else genuinely kind. He was incredibly magnetic and made every single person he interacted with feel special in some way.
Mo enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, and everything else he could do to express his creativity. All animals on this planet approved of him without reservation, but most especially his pug, Peggy. He enjoyed the company of his friends and family more than anything.
He is survived by his mother, Susan; siblings, Julianna Farhoud, and Joseph (Fiancé, Destiny Cousins) Farhoud. His father, Ahmad Farhoud and his beloved Peggy preceded him in death.
Friends and family will be received Sunday, July 24, 2022, from 3-7 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). A private burial for immediate family will take place later, but he will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens in Waterville, Ohio with his father. Memorial contributions may be made in Mo’s name to the Ohio Pug Rescue, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, or Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Condolences may be made online to his family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com .
