Michael J. Cieply

Michael “Mike” J. Cieply, 66, of Bowling Green, OH passed away at his home on April 3, 2024. He was born on September 21, 1957 in Toledo, OH to John and Margaret (St. George) Cieply.

Mike was a huge sports nut. He enjoyed watching the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers and Detroit Redwings. Mike also supported his hometown and took pride in being a BGSU Falcons fan.

Mike is survived by his siblings, Carole (Paul) Welling, Steven (Sarah) Cieply and John (Anisa) Cieply; niece, Amy Welling; nephews, Markus, Matthew, Paul and Tim Cieply; and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of the Celebration of Life and Sharing of Memories at 11:00 am in the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E.S. Boundary St, Perrysburg, OH (419-874-3133). Burial will follow at Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the Donor’s choice.
