Michael Joseph Chambers

Michael “Mikey” “Bubba” Joseph Chambers, age 61, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, in Toledo. He was born on May 19. 1962 to Barbara Jean Ingles in Utica, New York. He was raised by Lawrence Chambers.

Mikey was a painter and taxi driver. He was a member of Collingwood Presbyterian Church in Toledo, Ohio. Mikey served in the United States Army, where he was an Infantryman, Rifle M-16 Expert, and Hand Grenade Marksman, and he was honorably discharged. He enjoyed listening to Classic Rock and 80’s Rock, spending time with friends and family, singing karaoke, drinking Bud Lite and Busch Lite, and making people laugh.

Mikey is survived by his girlfriend of 24 years, Katherine Alcodray, children, Jason Tarbutton, Jennifer Chambers, Heather Horman, siblings, Mindy (Dale) Schutt, Larry Chambers Jr., Mark Picente, grandson, Alejandro Chambers, many nieces and nephews, and his feline friends, Chrysler and Casper. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, brother, Joseph Stone, and sister, Melissa Chambers.

Cremation will take place in the care of Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory. A celebration of Mikey’s life will be held at a later date.
