Michael Byron Brimmer

October 25, 1950 — January 27, 2021

MICHAEL BYRON BRIMMER Michael Byron Brimmer was born October 25, 1950 and died January 27, 2021. He was the oldest son of George Aldrich Brimmer and Margaret Ann Herman and brother of Catherine Ann Helton (Steve), Phyllis Jean Seymour (Dale), George Aldrich Brimmer II (Carol), Paul John Brimmer (Jacqui) and Richard Green Brimmer (Ceil). Mike grew up in East Toledo where he attended St. Thomas Aquinas grade school and he was a graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School in 1968. He later earned an Associate Degree in Computer Science from the University of Toledo. Mike worked at L.O.F., H. Poll Electric and First Solar before retiring in 2015. In his younger years, Mike was an avid fisherman and hunter and later took up golf and developed an interest in family genealogy. Mike was known by everyone for his Rooster Cogburn-like grit and his willingness to help anyone who asked for his help. Mike will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Friends will be received Friday, January 29, 2021 from 10-1 P.M. at Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford (419-666-1566). Mike will be buried next to his parents in Restlawn Memorial Park in Perrysburg. In lieu of flowers, Mike asked that donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio and the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be made online to the family at walkerfuneralhomes.com.
