Michael Charles Bodnar

Michael C. Bodnar, age 70, passed away Sunday October 16, 2016 at Flower Hospital. The son of Joseph Bodnar and Reba Klatt, he was born May 22, 1946 in Toledo. He was a graduate of Macomber High School and earned his Bachelors in Engineering from the University of Toledo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He began a long career with SSOE, retiring in 2013. Following retirement, he and his wife Judy moved to Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Joe Bodnar, Michelle (Jeff) Burson; step-children, Stacy Rybarczyk, Ryan (Allison) Rybarczyk; grandchildren, Kyra, Emma, Isaiah, Braeden, Malik; brother, David (Paula) Bodnar, Tim Klatt; sister, Mary Ellen Klatt. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Klatt and aunt, Rose Bodnar. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 2-8 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd) where services will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM followed by interment at Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be given to a charity of the donors choice.
