Michael J. Mike Binkowski

Michael “Mike” J. Binkowski, age 65, of Sylvania, Ohio passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice. Mike was born in Toledo, Ohio to Walter and Irene (Filipski) Binkowski on August 23, 1952. He graduated from Libbey High School and continued his education at the University of Toledo. Mike was self-employed as a real estate professional. He also was a member and administrator at the Moose Lodge #1579, in Sylvania, Ohio. He was an avid bowler, who had multiple perfect games and enjoyed golfing and spending time at Nettle Lake, where he was often found fishing. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years, Maureen Binkowski; sons, Chris Binkowski and Devon Binkowski; granddaughter, Gwen Binkowski; sister, Kathy (Tom) Poore; sister-in-law, Nadine Binkowski, aunt, Dottie Beakas; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas Binkowski; and brother-in-law, Ted Witkowski. Friends will be received at the Moose Lodge #1579, 6072 Main St., Sylvania, Ohio 43560 for a Celebration of Life on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 1:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s name to the Moose Heart, 155 S.
