Michael R. Mike Barczak

Michael R. Barczak, 71, of Millbury, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Mike was born on March 7, 1947 to Roman and Theone (Lauch) Barczak in Toledo, Ohio. He was a self-employed Truck Driver who also worked for Buckeye Asphalt Paving and Ebony Trucking. Mike was a member of Hope Community Church in Oregon and the Moose Lodge in Sylvania. He married his loving wife, Jackie R. (Tanner) Barczak on August 16, 1997 in Holland, Ohio and she survives. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jackie R. Barczak; step-children, Dwayne (Maliesha) Gillespie and Tammy (Mike) Bartlett; grandchildren, Bethany, Elijah, Ean and Lillien; and sisters, Ann Shibley and Cathy Serres. Mike was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, Ohio (419-666-3121). A funeral breakfast will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
