Michael Scott Adams

March 9, 1958 — May 22, 2012

Adams Michael Scott Michael Scott Adams, 54, passed away in Yuma, Arizona on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 where he had been residing for the past ten years. Born March 9, 1958 to Carol Robertson Adams and preceded in death by James Adams in Toledo, Ohio, where he previously lived. Mike graduated from Whitmer High School, became a machinist employed at Right Tool & Die, INC. and married his high school sweetheart, Beth Ann Adams Wilcox. They celebrated twenty-five years in holy matrimony, soul mates committed to a beautiful relationship that began May 31st. Blue skies, white, smooth sand reaching out to the shores of the crystal clear ocean and the beautiful bridge leading to Mikes paradise, Fort Myers Beach. Every year or so, hed take his vacation, pack the car and head south with Beth and two loud kids in the backseat. Yet, the 24-hour drive was all worth it when he stepped out on that beach! He also had a great passion for music. The Beatles or Pink Floyd usually played on the drive to his paradise, sounding out the excited kids on the way. Reading about the world, politics and the bible were additional hobbies of his. However, Mikes main focus in life was his commitment to his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He encouraged education, being true to themselves and kindness. He demonstrated this to his grandchildren, sending cards and packages filled with love. Mike is survived by his mother, Carol Robertson; brothers, Lande and Reis Adams; sister, Tracey Steve Wing; daughter, Jenniffer Scott Crowe; son, Michael Julie Adams JR.; and the pride and joy of his life, the grandchildren; Carmen Crowe, Casey Crowe, Dylan Adams and Dawson Adams. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beth Adams; friend and father-in-law, Chuck Wilcox; and a special man later in his life, Robby Robertson. At the top is where our father stood, as none could compare to the compassion, love, listening and guidance he provided his daughter and son. To celebrate his life, we will pass on his wonderful qualities that we admire so dear, and teach to his grandchildren. His wisdom will be shared; his intelligence will be a goal; and his love a necessity. Friends and family are invited to visit from 11:00am to 2:00 pm Tuesday May 29, 2012 at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey where graveside services will follow at 2:30 PM in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
