Michael A. Moore

Michael A. Moore, age 64, entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Born to Ronald and Laura (Smyth) Moore in Richmond, IN, on April 23, 1960, Michael lived most of his life in Indiana before recently moving to Toledo to be with family.

Michael proudly served his country in the Army for six years, a testament to his dedication and strength. A devout Seventh Day Adventist, his faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him in all he did. He was known for his friendly, outgoing nature and his ability to uplift and comfort those around him. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and rejoiced in their accomplishments.

Michael had a passion for thrift shopping, always on the lookout for hidden treasures. Although he spent over 30 years married, his most treasured companion was his beloved French Bulldog, Gizmo, who brought him immense joy. Michael also ran his own successful electronics and communications business, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and technical expertise.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, faith, and unwavering positivity.

Michael is survived by his children, Michael, Christina (Douglas), Melissa, and Nicholas (Ashlee); grandchildren, Taylor, Alyssa, Mason, Destiny, Allee, Samantha, Maddie, Micheala, and Owen; sisters, Vicki Kendall and Kristi Cooper; and brother, Timothy Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and brother, Ronald Moore.

Family and friends may visit Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 2-4 pm at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. The Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home at 4 pm. Michael will be laid to rest privately at Abington Cemetery in Abington, IN.
