Meryle Ty Rowley, 74, of Maumee, Ohio passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday March 10, 2014. He was born on June 24, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to Meryle and Lucille Dillingham Rowley. Ty was a graduate of Maumee High School and loved his family, boating, NASCAR, The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, and the Doobie Brothers. Ty was a real estate agent and broker and began his career at Garn Realty. He later went to work for Grogan and Re-Max Central. Early in his career, he was a partner at Oak Park Realty. After retirement, he volunteered at St. Lukes Hospital and attended the Center for Conscious Living where he was loved by all. Ty is survived by his wife, Barbara St. Arnaud-Rowley; sons, Jeffrey Barrett, Robert D. Michelle Barrett; daughters, Julie Jerry Knott, Aimee St. Arnaud and Karen Lonnie Shiffert; sister, Jeanne McArdle; grandchildren, Robby, Brittany, Brian, Mary, Jenna, Jake, and Hannah; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Andrea M. Rowley; and uncle, Robert Rowley. The family would like to send a special thank you to Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the exceptional care Ty received in his final days. Visitation will be held on Friday March 14, 2014 from 2:00-7:00 p.m. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio 43537 where funeral services will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
