Melvin Carlyle Kain, Jr.

Melvin Pee Wee Carlyle Kain, Jr. age 59 of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg surrounded by his loving family. Melvin was born in Toledo, OH on January 28, 1949 to Melvin Puzzy Carlyle and Betty Jean Gilbert Kain, Sr. He was employed as a quality control manager for the Lear Corporation for 15 years and was a former police officer for the City of Toledo for 5 years. Melvin was in the Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed golf, motorcycles, but most of all he cherished spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Trudy of 38 years; son, Chad Alissa Kain; daughters, Christie Bill Dressel, Catrina A. J. Motter; grandchildren, Dustin, Alia, Ryker, Rylie, Raygen, Avery, Billy, Ethan, Keegan, Bryce, Elizabeth, Connor, Dylan, Grace and Cole; brother, William Bill Kain and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his dog C.C.. He was preceded in death by his parents and faithful canine companion Fritz. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be missed by all who knew him.
