Melony Belcher

Melony Ann Belcher passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 48. She was born on June 25, 1977, in Toledo, Ohio. She was someone who always put others before herself and lived with a heart full of love.

Helping people was simply who Melony was. She worked as a nursing assistant and later as a pharmacy technician, caring deeply for everyone she helped. She had a gentle spirit and always tried to make people feel safe, understood, and cared for.

Melony was known for her warm smile, her sense of humor, and her ability to make people feel comfortable just by being around her. She loved fashion, jewelry, and makeup, and she always expressed herself through her style. Writing and poetry were important to her and helped her put her feelings into words when life felt overwhelming.

She found peace near the water, especially at the beach. Tybee Island, Georgia held a special place in her heart and brought her comfort and calm. There is peace in believing she is now resting with God, surrounded by love and serenity.

In 2000, Melony met the love of her life, Paul, and they were married in 2001. She leaves behind her husband, Paul Belcher; her children, Neko, Asialynn, Kialyn, Angel, Cody, Desirea, Kyle, Christiana and Nazieha, her nine grandchildren; and her mother and stepfather, Janice and Henry Vidal.

She was preceded in death by her sister and niece, Cristina Keith and Brooklyn Nadia

Though her loss is deeply felt, her love and spirit live on in everyone who knew her. She will never be forgotten and will always be carried in the hearts of those she loved.

Family and Friends may visit Thursday January 15, 2026 from 2-7 pm at Maison Dardenne Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St. Maumee. The funeral service will be Friday, January 16, 2026 at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
