Melody A. Gardner

Melody Gardner, age 66, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, in the compassionate care of Genoa Care Center.

Born on January 22, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio, Melody was lovingly adopted by Donald and Beatrice (Killie) Reeder. She was a proud graduate of Woodmore High School and spent her early years working as a waitress in Port Clinton.

Melody had a quiet, creative soul and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed crocheting, solving word searches, playing bingo, and caring for her beloved houseplants. She was a fan of Big Time Wrestling and shopping on the QVC network.

She is survived by her two sons and her brother, Wesley Reeder, nephews, Alan Reeder and Ronald Potter II, and great-nephew, Ronald Potter III. Melody was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Eugene Alvin Reeder.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, 501 West Street, Genoa, Ohio. A memorial ceremony will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel. Interment will take place with Melody’s family at Clay Township Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
