Melissa Missy JoAnn Burrer Anderzack Melissa Missy Anderzack, age 40, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2011 in Sylvania, OH from complications after surgery. Missy was born August 2, 1971 in Elyria, OH to Wayne and Carol Burrer. She was a graduate of Elyria High School and Bowling Green State University where she received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Missy continued her education at Lourdes College where she received her Master of Science Degree in Nursing May 2011. She was a school nurse for both St. Pius X and St. John Jesuit High School. Missy was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Parish. She was an avid runner, walker, and reader. Missy enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved to plan holiday gatherings for her family to enjoy. Missy had a passion for life and was rarely seen without a smile on her face. Missy is survived by her husband and awesome life partner, Andy Anderzack; beloved children, Matthew, John, Dominic, Danielle, Sam, and Jacob; parents, Wayne and Carol Burrer; brother, Wayne Butch (Gayle) Burrer; brothers-in-law, Michael (Zoe) and Tom (Kathy) Anderzack; sister-in-law, Dr. Susan DiSario (Jim); nieces and nephews, Ryan, Andrew, Robbie, Kayla, Lindsay, Jason, Sophia, Ella, and Ava; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Daniel Anderzack and her grandparents. The beauty of Missys spirit will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29th from 2-9:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.). and from 10-11:00am on Friday, December 30th at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral, 2535 Collingwood Blvd. Toledo, OH. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00am following visitation on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Johns Jesuit High School, 5901 Airport Hwy.
