Melanie A. Crisman

Melanie A. Crisman, 74, of Curtice, Ohio, and formerly of Great Falls, Montana, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Great Falls on June 13, 1950, the daughter of Stephen and Emma (Gago) O’Donnell. She spent her life in Great Falls until she moved to Curtice to be with her daughter, Dawn.

Melanie was an apartment manager for many years, but her family was her main responsibility and love. She wanted to make sure that everyone around her was taken care of and had what they needed, sometimes to a fault. She will be remembered for her caring, kindness, generosity and loving attitude. She woke up every day thankful for the opportunity to help in whatever the task God had for her to do. Melanie was a member of the Belt Community Church in Belt, Montana for many years.

Melanie enjoyed working puzzles, playing games like, Yahtzee, Farkle and Aggravation, with family and friends, watching TV and listening to audio books of inspiration and spiritualism. She loved all animals especially her k-9 companions.

Melanie is survived by her loving daughters, Dawn (Charles George) Crickard, Rebecca (Dennis Burke) Frediani, and Angela (Jeffrey) Frediani-Loch, grandchildren, Kimberly, Ashley, Emily, Johnathan, Kyle, Elena, Kayla and Allison, great-grandchildren, Ellie, Adriana, Aiden, Annabelle, Braylon, and Charlotte, along with her sister, Lynn (Monte) Tuscano. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Emma and her brother, Steven O’Donnell.

Family and friends are invited to visitation to be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Walker Funeral Home -Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, Ohio, from 2:00-4:00 PM.
