May Bell Messer

May Bell Messer, 74, of Genoa, Ohio, died Thursday evening, December 13, 2012 in Fremont Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. May Bell was born in Sanford, FL on July 20, 1938 to Presley and Inas Frederick Lee. She married Calvin B. Messer on June 4, 1955 and he preceded her in death on October 1, 1982. May Bell was dedicated to her family in everything she did, and they loved her for that. In her spare time she enjoyed watching the sports of tennis and hockey. Survivors of May Bell include her children, Deborah Mark Dodson of Holland, OH, Danny Messer of Genoa, and Randy D. Messer of Gibsonburg, OH. Her grandchildren, Casey Brandy, Nichole Dean, Jeremy, Calvin, Daniel Heather, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Kay F. Sutherland. A funeral service for May Bell will be conducted at 11 AM, Monday, December 17, 2012 in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St. Genoa, OH 43430. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 4-8 PM. Interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH. The family suggests that memorials in May Bells name be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Northwest Ohio Chapter, P.O.
