MAXINE M. (STROHL) LUGABIHL Maxine M. Lugabihl, 79, departed her earthly life to join our heavenly Father on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Heartland of Perrysburg. Maxine was born December 26, 1932 in Luckey, Ohio to Kermit and Loretta (Michel) Strohl. Maxine married Dolas D. Lugabihl on June 16, 1956 and he preceded her in death on August 5, 1980. Maxine enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was an active member of Epiphany Lutheran Church. The members of Epiphany Lutheran Church welcomed her with open arms when First English Lutheran Church closed its doors in 2006. Maxine considered everyone at Epiphany her family, as she loved every one of God’s creation. Maxine is survived by her children, Denise (Jim) Harding, Sheri (Terry Johnston) Lugabihl and Kermit “Bill” (Kathy Paul) Lugabihl; her golden child, Michael S. Lugabihl and close family friend, Dale Miller; grandchildren, James (Meredith) Harding, Jr., Amanda (Jeff) Owens, and Jodi and Julie Harding; three and half great-grandchildren; siblings, Lois (Bill) Finkenbiner, Marlyn (Don) Thornton, Robert (Phyllis) Strohl and Edward (Dedra) Strohl and many dear nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, Dolas, Maxine was preceded in death by her son, Dale Lugabihl. Friends will be received Monday, May 14, 2012 from 2-9 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) where funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 11 A.M. with Pastor Steve Smithberger officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Township Cemetery, Custar, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Epiphany Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. A very special thank you to Aunt Marlyn, Aunt Dedra and Uncle Ed for their continuous care and support.
