Maureen Coy Binkowski

Maureen “Mo” Coy Binkowski, 69, of Sylvania, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Ebied Hospice. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 29, 1953. Mo married Michael Binkowski on March 22, 1980 and spent 38 years together until his passing on June 14, 2018.

Mo retired as a Health Unit Coordinator for children’s pediatrics. She was a member of Moose Lodge #1579 in Sylvania for over 30 years where she held many titles including Senior Region. Mo enjoyed reading novels, scrapbooking, and visiting casinos. She loved spending time at Nettle Lake and cherished her cats, Sweetpea and Peanut.

Mo is survived by her sons, Christopher (Kristy) Binkowski and Devon (Hilda Rangel Valle) Binkowski; grandchildren, Gwenyth Binkowski, Lucas and Samantha Wilhelm, and Lía and Alina Binkowski Rangel; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Tom) Poore and Nadine Binkowski; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Patrick, and Michael; sister, Colleen; dear uncle, Jack (Audrey) Travenetti; parents-in-law, Irene and Walter Binkowski; brothers-in-law, Ted Witkowski and Tom Binkowski.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 12:00 pm-4:00 pm at the Moose Lodge #1579, 6072 Main St., Sylvania, Ohio where the Women of the Moose will honor Mo in a ritual at 12:30 pm.
