Matthew D. Obee

Matthew D. Obee, 56, of Woodville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016. He was born May 15, 1959 to Sharlene Buchanan and Eugene Obee. Matthew was employed as a plumber for UTMC and also worked as an auctioneer, and a minister with the Northwest Ohio Baptist Association. He was a member of the Glass City Coin Club, and A.F.S.C.M.E. Local #2415. Matthew enjoyed spending his leisure time fishing. Matthew was preceded in death by his father Eugene, sister Andrea Buchanan and brother Douglas Obee. He is survived by his sons: Ben Obee (Heather), Nick Obee, ex-wife, Lynda; mother: Sharlene Buchanan, brother: Joe Buchanan, sisters: Elizabeth McCartney, Catherine Potridge, Veronica Mattlin, Jeanne Ortiz, Anne Filka, and step-parents: Jim and Marilyn Adams. Interment will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 9:00 am at Lake Township Cemetery. A brunch will be held at Genoa American Legion Hall after the graveside services.
