Matthew Ray Bussell

Matthew R. Bussell, age 38, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016. The son of Winford and Juanita, he was born November 9, 1977 in Toledo. He was a talented commercial painter, working for various companies as well as Pure Pride Painting which he owned at one time. Matt was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and the University of Michigan. He enjoyed fishing and karaoke. Most of all Matt will be remember for his big heart and putting others needs before his own. He is survived by his wife, Brittany; Shawn, Emily, Gavin Bussell; step-daughter, Destinee Arnold; mother Juanita M. Pietrowski; brother Sam Bussell and sister, Lisa (Steve) Schneider; and nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Winford; sister, Heather Frosch and twin sister, Mandy Daum. Friends may visit the family on Friday August 19, 2016 from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd). Graveside service will be held at 3:45 PM at Roselawn Cemetery 13200 S. Dixie Hwy LaSalle, MI 48145. Memorials may be made to Zepf Recovery House or the family.
