Matthew S. Berry

Matthew S. Berry, age 61, of Waterville, died December 4, 2021, at his home. Matt was born December 2, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late John and Beverly (Hagerman) Berry. He worked as a truck driver for many years, most recently with B and B Trucking Services. He had previously been employed with Gutter Supply and Style Crest. Matt loved to visit the casino, flea markets and Lake Erie to fish for walleye and yellow perch. He was also an avid fan of Ohio State football. Matt was outgoing and friendly, he never met a stranger, and had a great sense of humor. He cared about people and was conscientious, always giving his best. Surviving is his former wife and best friend, Wanda Berry; children, Brian, Nikki, and Tracy; numerous grandchildren; a great grandchild; siblings, Michael (Mary), Michele (Steve), Maureen (Andy), Marcia (Joe), Marjorie (D.J.), Martin, and Marshall (Kelly); many nieces and nephews; and his lab, Koty. Private burial will take place at Toledo Memorial Park. Contributions in his name are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
