Matthew Charles Ainsworth

April 30, 1989 — March 26, 2011

MATTHEW CHARLES AINSWORTH, was born on April 30, 1989 in Toledo, Ohio, and died unexpectedly on March 26, 2011 while attending Villanova University, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Matthew was the beloved son of Anne-Marie Nachtrab Ainsworth and Thomas Jay Ainsworth. He was the loving brother of Thomas William Ainsworth; Erin Marie Boes and her husband, Steven; and Daniel Joseph Ainsworth. Matthew also leaves behind his grandparents, William and Jane Nachtrab, and Marge Ainsworth, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Matthew means gift from God, and he was truly that: a gift from God to all of us. He was the joy of the family and will be dearly missed. Matthew graduated from Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in Houston, Texas in 2008. He then went on to Villanova University, where he was a proud member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, French Club, Engineering PEERS, Club Sailing, Ambassadors, and the Honor Society for Chemical Engineering. He planned to graduate in 2012 with a dual degree in Chemical Engineering and French. He had a passion for travel and simply lived life to the fullest. If an opportunity presented itself to travel to Europe, and especially to his beloved France, he took it. He had a talent for art, an unmatched sense of style, and was a self-taught chef who dazzled dinner party guests. He had great expectations for himself and was well on the way toward achieving them. The viewing will take place at Walker Funeral Home at 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue west of Corey Rd. in Toledo, Ohio on Thursday, March 31, from 4 to 9 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. The funeral will be held on Friday, April 1, at 12 noon at Christ the King Church in Toledo, Ohio, followed by his burial at Toledo Memorial in Sylvania, Ohio. A memorial service for Matthew was held at St. Thomas Church at Villanova University on Sunday, March 27 at 8 p.m. There will also be a memorial service at Strake Jesuit in Houston on Saturday, April 9. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Matthews memory to Villanova University. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com
