Mathew Shane Barney

Mathew Shane Barney, age 28, of Toledo passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at The Toledo Hospital. He was born on July 22, 1986 to Steve Rountree and Sherry (Glaze) Whitenburg. Mathew was employed by his brother Mike, at Exterior Qualities Home Improvement as a field supervisor. He enjoyed attending Cedar Creek Church, dirt bike riding, boating, fishing, camping, hunting, but most of all, spending time with his girls. Mathew leaves a loving wife, Jessica (Maiden Name) Barney;daughters, Autumn Delilah and Millie Diana Barney; parents, Sherry Whitenburg and Rich Frantz and Steve Rountree; brothers, Glen (Kim) Barney and Mike (Amber) Barney; sisters, Stephanie and Amanda Whitenburg; half brother and sisters, many aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces and nephews. In celebration of Mathew’s life, a memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 1 – 5pm at the Sunset Banquet Hall, 1460 Woodville Rd., Millbury, Ohio 43447. Memorial Contributions to Mathew’s family to honor his girls would be greatly appreciated and may be made to any local branch of the Huntington Bank.
