Matea "Tea" I. Anderson

Matea “Tea” I. Anderson, 50, of Genoa, Ohio, peacefully passed away at home on December 31, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on March 29, 1971, the daughter of Carl R. and Mary E. (Bruce) Anderson. After her high school graduation, she earned her Associates Degree and went on to a career as a billing specialist. She worked in the Toledo area for 30 years specializing in medical billing. Tea was a very loving and humorus person who cared deeply for those around her, giving of her time, talents, and treasurers. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her friends. Her favorite guilty pleasures included olives, caramels, pickles and M&Ms. Tea is survived by her mother, Mary, sisters, Denise Anderson, Carla Anderson, and Jo Anne Miller, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Anderson (2004) and brother, Richard G. Anderson (2010). A gathering for friends and family is scheduled on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 PM in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa.
