Maryann Rose Zdunczyk

Maryann Rose Zdunczyk, age 63, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017. She was born in Detroit, Mi and moved to Toledo when she was 5. She was a graduate of St. Ursula Academy and received her Bachelors degree from the University of Toledo. She married Francis Zdunczyk on November 24, 1978. Maryann worked for ATT until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, dancing, camping and horseback riding. She always found time to have brunch with her siblings and visiting with her sorority sisters. Maryann loved making new friends. She was all about having a good time and always made the most of life. She was a kind and compassionate person who truly cared for others. She is survived by her children, Ann Tompkins, David Zdunczyk; step children, Renee Bostwick, Ray, Rob, Ron and Joseph Zdunczyk; grandchildren, Joseph Zdunczyk, Marie Tompkins and Honesty Zdunczyk; siblings, Clarence Dompierre, Cliff Brittian, Leona Brescher, Rose Sweet and Pat Weidler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis and sister, Peggy Loy. Friends may visit the family from 2-9 PM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave (west of Corey Rd) where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Saturday.
