MaryAnn Windischman-Auld, 75, of the Shoreland Community, Toledo, Ohio, passed away, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania, Ohio. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 7, 1945, the daughter of Woodrow Wilson and Mary I. (Ramasocky) Windischman. After graduating high school, MaryAnn attended nursing school and became a registered nurse. She was proud of her long career working at several healthcare institutions around Northwest Ohio, and in many different departments until her retirement at age 70. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where she volunteered and took part in many church activities. In her younger years she enjoyed camping in various state parks throughout Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky and Michigan. MaryAnn was a Girl Scout and later a Girl Scout leader. She loved her family dearly and made it a priority to attend her grandchildren’s sporting events and other activities, always cheering them on! MaryAnn is survived by her daughter, Kim Kross; son, James (Rachel) Auld; grandchildren, Jacob Auld, Reed Kross, Julia (Cory) Frey, Courtney Kross and Jonathan Auld; brother, Anthony (Barbara) Windischman; and sisters-in-law, Linda Windischman and Mary Windischman. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Woodrow Wilson Windischman II and Donald Windischman; and her ex-husband, Francis Auld, Jr., whom she married in Genoa, Ohio in 1968. A memorial service for MaryAnn will be scheduled for a later date. Those wishing to make a memorial donation are asked to consider a Hospice service of their choice.
