Maryann C Kosier

Maryann “Carol” Kosier, passed away peacefully into God’s hands on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 14, 1932 to Clayton and Carolyn Yager. Maryannn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She lived her life to the fullest in every way. She especially loved going to her summer home at Poplars Resort in Hillsdale, Michigan where she had many good friends. Maryann loved playing games of all kinds and parties for every occasion. She enjoyed many travels and adventures and was always game to do anything fun, but spending time with her family gave her the greatest joy of all. She is survived by her son, Scott (Kimberly) Kosier, daughters, Brenda (Mike) Couturier, Stella (Roger) Wohlgamuth and Kim Ellison; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Walker. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Norman “Scott” and now they are dancing beautifully together again. Maryann was also preceded in death by her brothers, Arnold and Norman Yager. Friends will be received on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. at Neville-Shank Funeral Home, 5052 Dorr Street, Toledo, Ohio where funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. They would also like to thank Flower Hospital for their exceptional care.
