Maryann Henry

MaryAnn Henry, age 69, of Maumee, Ohio passed away peacefully after a short illness on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, in Perrysburg, OH. She was born on August 20, 1952, to Frank and Stella (Zychowicz) Brzuchalski in Toledo, OH. She married Donald Henry on May 11, 1985, and together they shared a loved for France, cooking, travel, and wine. She and Don shared their home hosting students from abroad and holiday dinners for family and Friends. Maryann continued hosting holiday dinners for those who were alone for the holidays. MaryAnn was spontaneous, loved to travel and giving of her time. She loved being out and about with her friends to eat and drink and she enjoyed a good Whiskey. She was a member of the Elks ladies and enjoyed Bingo, Euchre, Scrabble and other activities. She was avid about the theater, Palette to Palette at the Art Museum, Jazz and bowled with the Libbey High School Facility. MaryAnn is survived by many close cousins, nieces. nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don and infant brother, John. The family would like to thank the Waterside Friends and Community for all their love and care for her. Family and friends will be received on Friday, September 17, 2021, from 3-8 P.M. at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee. Services will be on Saturday at 10 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fort Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg, Ohio. There will be a luncheon following the gravesite service at The Elk 139 W. Wayne St., Maumee, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Planned Pethood, the Toledo Area Humane Society, or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
