Mary Ellen Wyse, 84, a longtime resident of Genoa, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2007, in Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Center, Pemberville. Mary Ellen was born August 3, 1923, in North Baltimore, Ohio, to Clyde and Nellie Stevens Heminger. She was a 1941 graduate of Woodville High School. On January 8, 1944, she married John Reid Wyse in Flatbush, NY, and he preceded her in death January 24, 1985.
