Mary Jo Weyandt, 58, of Williston, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 in Arbors of Oregon, Oregon, Ohio. She was born November 10, 1954, in Oregon, Ohio, to James H. and Louise M. Reinbolt Beshalske. On May 23, 1980, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Genoa, she married Mark A. Weyandt and he survives. Mary Jo retired from Mercy-St. Charles Hospital in 2008 as a receptionist but had also worked as a day care administrator and teacher at the Luther Home of Mercy in Williston from 1975-1985. From 1990-2000 Mary Jo started and ran the Aurora Child Development Center in Toledo. She loved children and was involved with them her whole life. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Bono and was a Sisters of Mercy Associate. Mary Jo was a lifetime member of the Genoa FFA Alumni Association. In her spare time she loved to garden, can, and sew. In addition to her husband, Mark, Mary Jo is survived by her son, Brent Kristie Weyandt of Williston and grandson, Allen James Weyandt. Also surviving are her siblings: James Gloria Beshalske of Loveland, OH, Thomas Jackie Beshalske of Maumee, Robert Susan Beshalske of Granite Bay, CA, Michael Alma Beshalske of Temperance, MI, Ann Don Maze of Walbridge, and Susan Dave Brown of Genoa. Her parents preceded her in death. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa. A scripture service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening in the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 204 Main St., Genoa, with burial to follow in Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials for Mary Jo be directed to Sisters of Mercy-St. Bernardine, 1220 Tiffin St., Fremont, OH 43420; or Genoa FFA Alumni Association, c/o Genoa Area High School, 2980 N. Genoa-Clay Center Rd., Genoa, OH 43430, or Odyssey Hospice, 1745 Indian Wood Circle, Suite 200, Maumee, OH 43537.
