Mary Lou Trumbull

Mary Lou Trumbull, age 78, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 in Florida. A former resident of Toledo, Mary Lou and her late husband, Jack retired to Florida in 1983. She was born in Toledo on August 13, 1929 to Earl and Rhea Peters Neeb. Mary Lou graduated from Waite High School, the Toledo Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and the University of Toledo. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Maumee, Round Hill Community Church of Greenwich, CT and the Community Church of Vero Beach, FL. She taught at the LPN Program at Gunkel School and at the RN Program at St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center. After her retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at the Indian River Medical Center and the Hospital Thrift Shop. Mary Lou and Jack were members of the Great Lakes Cruising Club and The Moorings Club, in Vero Beach. They also had a summer home in Leland, Michigan where they loved spending time. Mary Lou enjoyed her family and many friends. She maintained an active life filled with, golfing, traveling, walking and being out in the sunshine. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Bill Lipner of Greenwich, CT; son, Tom Sue Trumbull of Sylvania, OH; grandchildren, Drew and Wesley Lipner, Michael, Scott, Kyle and Madison Trumbull. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Friends may visit with the family at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., west of Corey Rd. on Monday from 4 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 200 E. Broadway, Maumee.
