Mary Ann Stuart

Mary Ann Stuart, 65, of Holland, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home on November 28, 2014. She was born on November 7, 1949 in Fremont, Ohio to Dale 'Shorty' and Gertrude (Stadler) Mathna. She married Edward Stuart on February 26, 1972 in Toledo, Ohio. Mary Ann was an active member of St. Joan of Arc Cathloic Church, and worked in many ministries and coordinated numerous religious services over the years, before her illness in 2000. She enjoyed crafts and making baskets. She was also an avid lover of jigsaw puzzles. Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband, Edward C. Stuart; sons, Philip L. Stuart, Scott E. Stuart and Robert C. (Andrea) Stuart; grandchildren, Sebastien and Stella and brother, Charles'Chuck' (Diane) Mathna. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joseph Mathna. A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 5856 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, Ohio 43614. Burial will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 (419-865-8879). Memorial contributions may be made to the Catholic Charities or a Charity of the Donor's Choice.
