Mary H. Rogers

Mary H. Rogers, age 92, died September 18, 2018 at Kingston of Sylvania. Born November 3, 1925 in Findlay, Mary worked as a beautician for many years. She enjoyed reading romance novels and mysteries, dancing and traveling. She will be remembered for her kind heart and love of animals. Surviving are her sons, Ron Young, Michael (Lisa) and Robert (Jane) Rogers; step daughter, Ellen Mens; grandchildren; and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton; sons, Thomas Young and David Rogers; and step son, Randy Rogers. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2018. Interment will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Shriner’s Hospitals.
