Mary L Realy

Mary Lynn (Bendig) Realy passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family, friends, and her beloved cats on February 11, 2025. She was born May 22, 1948, to Lawrence and Velma (Doyle) Bendig in Lincoln, Michigan, where she met her high school sweetheart, Joseph, and they were married on January 3, 1966.

Truth be told there are not enough words to describe Mary. Her entire life, she put her family first. From being a loving wife, to being a loving mom, and grandma as well; there was always one piece of advice she made sure to tell everyone which was to "follow your heart". Mary’s strong faith remained with her until the end. She was truly an angel on earth in her time here, but now she is safe in her savior’s arms.

Everything about her will be dearly missed. Her loving, caring, determined strength made her the very best. She was an amazing cook and made the best goulash!

Left to cherish every minute of her life, her endearing husband, Joseph; children, Velma (John) Elekes, Sandra (Rick) Schuler, Gail (Steve) Delaney, and Denise Realy; grandchildren, Amber Lynn, Amanda Marie, Terri Lynn, Patricia, and Kyleigh; and great-grandchildren, Porsha and Tessa. Mary was preceded by her parents; and siblings, Pat, Danny and Freddy.
