Mary O. Potridge, 84, of Clay Center, Ohio, died Saturday early evening, June 27, 2015, at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital in Oregon, Ohio. Mary was born April 24, 1931, in Boaz, Alabama, to Homer and Exer (Gregg) Tarvin. On October 8, 1949, in Rising Fun, Georgia, she married Roy J. Potridge, who preceded her in death in 2009. Mary retired in 1996 from the Genoa Care Center. She had also worked at Prima Bakery and Johnstown Bakery. She was a member of Northwood Baptist Church, where she participated in many of the churchs activities. Mary very much enjoyed quilting. Mary is survived by her son, Ron (Skeeder) Portridge and daughter, Kathy (John) Moore, both of Toledo, seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; brother, Wayne (Martha) Tarvin and sister, Hylan Duval, both of Boaz. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roy, brothers, Ray and Jimmy Tarvin, granddaughter, Amanda Hood, and grandson, David Teet. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at the Robinson Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, where the funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Genoa Road, Perrysburg. The family has requested that memorials for Mary be directed to Northwood Baptist Church, 566 E. Florence St., Toledo, OH 43605.
