Mary Pollock

Mary died peacefully on January 1, 2015 in her home at the Manor of Perrysburg with the comforting care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio.  She celebrated her 90th birthday last July.  Her husband of 63 years, Leonard, passed away in 2008.  Mary was known for her directness, her youthful grin, her winning ways at Bingo and her ever-present stash of Coca-Cola.  In fact, her last words the evening before she passed away were whispered after she took a long sip of Coke with a straw… “umm, that’s good”.   Her son Larry and his wife, Liz, live in Washington State.   Her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Lisby, live in the Toledo area.    Mary has four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  Mary grew up in the Toledo area and lived in Perrysburg for her entire married life.  Her sister and three brothers pre-deceased her.  She has many nieces and nephews in the greater Toledo Area. Friends may gather at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 5:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:30 PM.  Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E.
