Mary R. Pierce

Mary R. Pierce age 96 of Toledo passed away Monday May 10, 2010 in the University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born September 16, 1913 in Murray Kentucky to Seph and Ann Calhoon. She was an office worker for Warren Radio for many years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilt making, cooking and gardening. The widow of Clifford and Charles Pierce she was also preceded in death by sisters Frances Haddad and Ellen Rowland and brother Eurie Calhoon. Surviving is her son Henry Mary Pierce; daughter Phyllis Roberts; grandchildren Thomas Diane Pierce, Lisa Ross, Charles Laura Hackenberg and Terri Easley; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Wednesday and Thursday from 5-8 PM where funeral services will be held Friday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
