Mary E. Betty Penn

Mary E. “Betty” Penn, 90, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Ebeid Hospice surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 10, 1926 in Toledo to George B. and Viola L. (Winseman) Stanley and she married Keenan L. Penn on October 31, 1973. Betty was a 1944 graduate of Libbey High School. She was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed baking. Betty also loved to camp and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Betty is survived by her loving husband, Keenan L. Penn; children, Georgia (Gary) Koch, Sandra S. Sosbe, David J. Trumbull and special daughter, Niki (Jason) Kazmierczak; 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Jacquelynn M. Selmek, grandson, Jonathan M. Selmek and brothers, George B. Stanley, Jr., Chester Stanley and Joseph Stanley. Family and friends will be received on Monday, November 28, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 (419-865-8879). Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, NW Ohio Chapter.
