Mary C Nowak

Mary C. Nowak, age 90, of Maumee, Ohio pass away March 29, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio and moved to Monroe, Michigan at a early age with her mother. There she met Eugene Nowak, married and shortly thereafter moved to Toledo where they raised their family. She was an example of great strength and dignity, always there with her extended arms, an ear to listen and the wisdom of kindly council for family and those in need. Her four children were her greatest accomplishments. Mary retired from Champion Spark Plug on her birthday in 1987. She enjoyed travel, (but not ocean cruises) knitting, over nights with her grandchildren, cooking polish food, and the casino. Mary is survived by her children, Bob (Ruth), Elaine Cherry, Gene (Beth), and Mickey (Darrah) ; grandchildren Patrick, Cameron, Garrett, Jill, Lynn, Todd, Nick, Chris, Austin, Ashley, and Matty. She was preceded in death by her husband and son-in-law, Ken Services will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Road, Perrysburg, Oh 43551 or the charity of the donors choice. The Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
