Mary Alice Meagher

Mary Alice Meagher, age 62, passed away Thursday March 15, 2012 at her residence. The daughter of George Willets and Rose Thompson, she was born June 12, 1949 in Monroe, MI. Most recently she had worked at JAC Products in Maumee. Mary had a fun personality with a great sense of humor. She was a hard worker who had a strong work ethic. She enjoyed volunteering and always had a hand to lend. She was an auxiliary member of American Legion Post 384. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and daughter. Her grandchildren were the light of her life whom she adored greatly. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Scott Barton of Garner, NC; grandchildren, Mitchell, Meredith, Mallory and Monica Barton; father, George Willets of Whitehouse, OH; brother, Rodney Rocky Thompson. She was preceded by her mother, Rose Marie Witfoth-Thompson; sisters, Diane Willets and Connie Thompson; and brother Rick Willets. Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 1-3:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. where a memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday.
