Mary Lou Keefer, age 80, of Swanton died Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Swanton Valley Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 9, 1934 to Edwin and Ramona (Tucker) Cherry. She was employed 43 years at the Toledo Express Airport where she worked as the Head Cook finishing her career with TSA. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary Lou is survived by her children, Converse W. Keefer, Jr. (Stephanie Challender); Paul Keefer (Jeri); Louis Keefer (Pam); Tony Keefer (Connie); Jeff Keefer; Dorothy Keefer (Dan Cahill); Fred Keefer (Brooke); 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brothers, Edwin J. Cherry, Jr. (Sharon) and James Cherry (Ruth); sisters, Susie Robedeau and Rosie Greulich (Ron) as well as a special friend, Joan Niedzwieck. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Converse W. Keefer Sr. Friends will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 4-8 pm Thursday where funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, October 10, 2014.
