Mary Lee Kasper, 77, a resident of the Luther Home of Mercy in Williston, Ohio for the past 27 years died Saturday, September 24, 2016 in Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. Mary Lee was born in Steubenville, Ohio on August 11, 1939 to John and Helen Julia (Mehalko) Kasper. She lived most of her life in Steubenville and was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church there. Mary Lee is survived by her sisters, Karen (David) Krause, June (Robin) Backstrom, nephews, Jason Backstrom, David (Joni) Krause and two nieces, Kara (Avi) Dar and Kimberly (Erin) Kossack. She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be conducted for Mary Lee at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Luther Home of Mercy, 5810 N. Main St., Williston, OH 43468 preceded by visitation in the Chapel from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2016 in the Fort Steuben Burial Estates Cemetery, 801 Canton Rd., Wintersville, Ohio, 43953.
