Mary Gail Hugg

Mary Gail Hugg, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and a woman of strong Catholic devotion, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Toledo on September 27, 1952, and lived a life rooted in kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering faith. She found joy in painting statues, watching Hallmark movies, and spending time with her family while creating meaningful memories with those she loved. Mary "Gail" had a beautiful and generous heart. She was the kind of person who would quietly step in to help anyone in need, never seeking any recognition.

Mary Gail was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Arvilla and Norm Perry, who instilled in her the compassion and values she carried throughout her life. Today, we find comfort in knowing she has been reunited in heaven with her parents, her cherished niece, Kayla, cherished nephew, Carter and her beloved little brother, Thaddeus, and all the family members who have gone before her. She is survived by her devoted husband, Tom Hugg; her children, James Coutcher, Jason Hugg, and Kristen Hugg; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren-especially her newest grandson Tobias; and her siblings, Frank Perry, Nina Mercurio, Jack Mercurio, Theresa Thompson, and Ann Mysinger.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 17, 2026, from 4-8 pm at Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford, OH. Visitation will continue Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 9 am at All Saints Catholic Church, 628 Lime City Road, Rossford, where the Funeral Mass will begin at 10 am.
