Mary Lou Hricovsky, age 80, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at The Toledo Hospital. She was the daughter of Nicholas and Agnes Estvanik born on September 13, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio. Mary graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1949. Mary, along with her husband, Vince, owned Vinces Sweet shop in Toledo in the 50s and 60s. She moved to Monroe where she was an organist for St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She later worked for the City of Monroe as a legal secretary for over 20 years. After her husband, Vincent, passed away in 1976, she raised her children alone. She instilled the values of church, God and prayer into her children which inspired them to be successful. Mary loved to cook, sew and especially looked forward to her annual trip to Mackinac Island with her daughters. She loved her family dearly and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Mary is survived by her children, Vicky Dale Wiltse, Lori Jim Pierson, Margie Rembowski, Barbie Hricovsky, Becky Scott Grau and Anne Bill Johnston; grandchildren, Matt & Jenny Wiltse, Jamie, Ryan Desiree and Ben Pierson; Tom Shawn, Nick, Chris, and Mike Rembowski, Emily, Alex, Aaron, and Annie Grau, Alexis, Bailey, Taylor and Maggie Johnston; great grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Ryan and Hailey Rembowski; sisters, Sarah Hricovsky and Teresa Howard Teifke; brother, Nick Sallie Estvanik; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2 to 8 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., west of Corey Rd.. Funeral services will be on Saturday beginning with prayers at the funeral home at 11:30 am followed by Mass of the Resurrection at St. Josephs in Sylvania, 5373 S. Main St at 12:00 pm.
